CELEBRATING BLACK CREATIVITY
Get ready to celebrate Black excellence! Back in 2022, jazz singer Kristen Warren created Black Box Blackout, a movement that honors and elevates black artists of all flavors. Every February, the party continues with an explosion of talent: music, theatre, live paintings, soulful community dinners, and all the good vibes that come with it. We're now on our third season, and you can be a part of this moment in history!
The Children's Hunger Project is a program that provides meals to underprivileged children during weekends. For some children, school meals are their only source of food during the week, which makes the program critical. The children receive bags or backpacks filled with food to take home. Since this issue disproportionately affects children of color, partnering with the Children's Hunger Project was the perfect fit for us. We are proud to say that Black Box will continue to donate to the Children's Hunger Project each year.
That means YOU! Our attendees come from diverse backgrounds and industries, making Black Box Blackout a melting pot of ideas and perspectives. We believe that our attendees are the heart and soul of the events and we strive to make their experiences unforgettable. Thank you for your support!
Do you have questions or comments about the events? Do you need special accommodations? Send me a message, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.- Sincerely, KDUB <3
